What a fabulous hotel with exceptional service. Huge credit to all the staff who were so welcoming, couldn’t do more to help and always smiling. The hotel itself is stunning, from the entrance with candles & fresh flowers, the gorgeous spa, it all felt very luxe. We were offered a welcome drink whilst checking in, bags taken to our room, shown to the spa as we booked a time slot (access is free to all guests you just have to pre book a time slot) the spa was gorgeous, very quiet so even more special, inside and outside jacuzzi, steam room, sauna and lovely pool with bubble beds. The bar/lounge was so cosy with a fire and comfy sofas. We ate at the onsite pub which was lovely. I would try the onsite fine dining if coming back. Breakfast was a real treat, lovely service, great selection of buffet and cooked options (all included) the room itself was great, a nice hotel room, just didn’t have the wow factor that the rest of the hotel did. We will absolutely be returning when visiting Ireland again. Great value for money as well. The location was ideal to explore Killarney, close to the waterfalls and stunning landscapes. Morning coffee is served in the Sun Lounge whilst traditional breakfasts are available in the dining room. Fine Irish cuisine is on the menu at Castlelough Restaurant which overlooks the gardens. Exceptional location, very nice and high end hotel, felt like we were in an old movie. Very good food and delicious breakfast. Everything we tasted was perfect!

The leisure centre has swimming pools, a hot tub and a 120-foot water slide. There is also a gym, sauna, steam room, aerobics studio and a supervised creche. Guests can use the leisure facilities for free. The location, service, cleanliness, food, staff and the entire experience was wonderful. I have stayed in many hotels and very few can compete with Lakeside Hotel. The stay filled me with joy, I would recommend this property 100%.

Guests at the accommodation can enjoy hiking nearby, or make the most of the garden. Fabulous host and a first class stay. I would highly recommend. I will definitely be back.
