The apartment was spacious, the terace was huge, beds comfortable. We had everything we needed and more, even Netflix on their TVs. The best part was the swimming pool area with a jacuzzi and the very friendly staff. Everything was chill and we could really relax. Recommend.

All rooms offer air conditioning and a flat-screen TV. The private bathroom comes with a hairdryer and free toiletries. Excellent food. Everything felt incredibly fresh, which for me is a huge bonus. The staff was lovely and available by email for any question I had even before arrival. The setting is pastoral—you see green on every side. There’s a horse farm where you can go for a ride. Truly charming. We didn’t try the spa, but my husband had an in-room massage and was very pleased. Very clean. Recommended for anyone looking to escape all the city noise. A car is essential.

Featuring a wellness centre with an outdoor pool and a beautifully landscaped garden, design hotel Palazzo Castri 1874 Spa & Garden has been recently refurbished and is just 400 metres from Santa Maria Novella Train Station. I liked the fact the room was clean. We have asked for a cot, as we travelled with our child. The breakfast was delicious, with great variety of food. The staff in the restaurant were very friendly and very accomodating. We have travelled a lot and stayed in different hotels around Europe and i can say that the staff in Palazzo Castri was class. Fairplay to the management for this!
