We booked the room with a private onsen for our honeymoon. We arrived with our rental car and were greeted by the valet whom parked our car. We were then seated to a separate table where a lady (who I assumed is the manager) talked a bit of English and explained the rules (onsens) and times (breakfast and dinner). She then walked us through our room (no elevators btw). The room was a beautiful traditional Japanese Ryokan. It is right next to the flowing river. I wouldn't recommend opening the window though due to the insects. The bathroom is very nice and the shower is outdoors next to the private onsen. The beds on the tatami will be set up for you while you are having dinner. The dinners and breakfasts were delicious and yes very exotic (horse/deer sashimi, boar soup and tiny deep fried crabs). The flavours and portions were abundant. The lovely and friendly lady that served us for dinner explained everything very well and she was a happy personality. Overall, I loved the whole traditional experience and felt very relaxed throughout the stay. Definitely recommend if you are coming here to unwind and eat delicious food.

一棟貸し別荘 mitt house inn se nachází v destinaci Numata a nabízí zahradu a klimatizaci. Naeba Ski Resort se nachází 48 km odtud a Kawaba 17 km. Everything. The house is spacious and beautiful. Every need was addressed, they even left us a fresh apple juice in the fridge and a welcome note. Rooms were huge and the beds were really comfortable. The kids enjoyed playing with the toys 🧸 and to jump on the small trampoline outside.

The room was comfy, and the outside hot spring was well presented. The food was very nice and they accommodated our specific dietary requirements. Dogs were very friendly and I enjoyed brushing them. Overall, very nice accommodation!!

Super Hydrogen Rich Spa Yado Kanzan se nachází v destinaci Minakami a poskytuje ubytování s zahradou, neplaceným soukromým parkovištěm, sdíleným loungem a terasou. We loved the food. 10 course meal dinner. Breakfast was amazing too. True Japanese style cusine. Farm to table. Really fresh ingrediemts. Room was really clean and spacious. Onsen was clean too. Staffs were super friendly. We absolutely loved everything about this place.

Pension ぽかぽか（poka poka） se nachází v destinaci Tone a nabízí ubytování s zahradou, neplaceným soukromým parkovištěm a terasou. Vodopády Kegon je 31 km daleko. Lovely location and staff, when I explained that I am vegetarian but I can eat rice, vegetables, egg, and tofu the land lady cooked me a delicious vegan meal!

Ikaho Syusuien se nachází na ideálním místě ve čtvrti Ikaho Onsen v destinaci Shibukawa. Muzeum železnice Usui Pass se nachází 46 km daleko, Ishidan-gai Steps 800 metrů a Ikaho Ropeway 400 metrů. The surrounding and ambience together with the staff were just very nice and friendly

Nachází se 5 minut chůze od vlakového nádraží JR Takasaki, Hotel 1-2-3 Takasaki nabízí ubytování s bezplatným kabelovým připojením k internetu. There was Ladies only floor with security door. I felt safe and comfortable. It was very near from the train station. The breakfast was nice too.

Oyado Matsubaya se nachází v dobré lokalitě ve čtvrti Minakami Onsen-kyo v destinaci Minakami. Lyžařský rezort Gala Yuzawa se nachází 34 km daleko, Naeba Ski Resort 36 km a Kawaba 30 km. The old guy at reception was the sweetest guy. Said his English wasn’t great but did an awesome job of explaining everything to us. It was a quaint, modest place that felt very welcoming. We got to set up our own futon instead of staff coming in and doing it for us. We Really enjoyed the privacy and it was a fun experience. View was amazing. We had a smoking room, it didn’t smell of smoke at all. Dinner offered was not your typical Ryokan, it had options like spaghetti bolognese. I loved it here.

草津温泉湯畑 徒歩圏内 &温泉街を大勢で遊びたい & 癒されたい se nachází v destinaci Kusacu a nabízí volný vstup do vířivky. Opičí park Džigokudani se nachází 46 km odtud. the location was great and parking space good for 2 SUVs. There was toilet on 2nd level where the bedrooms were and convenient for the senior and young. There were 2 washers and dryers which was a plus for long travel. There was a projection screen which helped entertained the little ones and the living room/communal place was cleverly designed with nice furniture and aesthetics. Importantly the house had good heating system for all rooms during the cold autumn which we all greatly appreciated.
