It’s newly renovated, modern interior yet the original skeleton of the property remains, such as the beautiful wooden beams. The lounge, and dining area are social, and it was lovely to meet other guests. I stayed in the dorm for a week, and it’s multi gender but that’s okay. The cubbies are all very comfortable, spacious enough for me as I’m only 5’2. Mattress, pillow and duvet are so warm and cozy. There’s even a mini tv in each space! The amenities are excellent, toiletries are all provided, I was able to do some laundry as well, after a week of snowboarding. The staff are all exceptional, so kind, so caring, respectful and happy demeanour. What a thriving place to be. The staff sometimes cooked me dinners when I came back late, and were happy to hang out with their guests. You won’t regret staying here!

We were at the two bedroom house and the view, the furnishing and the decorations were breathtaking! Also there's 2.5 baths instead of 2 as advertised. The location is perfect - about 10 minute walk to the restaurants. However what really made our stay so memorable was the service team. They felt like family and were super responsive to every request on WhatsApp. From restaurant and onsen suggestions to helping us book tables. They sent their own car in a snow storm to rescue us from cortina when all taxis cancelled on us. Words can't describe our appreciation and thank you for making our annual family trip so perfect.

Pension Belnina se nachází v destinaci Hakuba v oblasti Nagano a nabízí bezplatné Wi-Fi, neplacené soukromé parkoviště a volný vstup do vířivky. It was cute/quaint and had character! Excellent location, shuttle stops for all the mountains were a five min walk or less, as were the ski rental shop and many restaurants. Loved hanging out in the common room. And most of all we LOVED Taka, he was the best. Such an amazing host. Definitely would stay here again if I came back to Hakuba and definitely would recommend to a friend.

Pension Tomato se nachází 10 minut jízdy od zimního lyžařského střediska Hakuba Happo-One a nabízí prostorné pokoje v západním stylu s loftem. Love it. Super friendly hosts who helped us a lot, offered to pick us up, take us to hire gear at echoland (with discount at affiliated store), take us to deliver our luggage and send us to the station upon checking out. Booked restaurants for us too since we didn't have a local phone number. Thank you so much! Great accommodation, very cosy and nice atmosphere, vending machine inside, 2 onsen rooms (one of which has an outdoor onsen too, very nice in the snow) which can be used privately by booking each day. Drying room for ski gear is very convenient. Short walking distance (<5 min) to free local bus stop to goryu, happo, iwatake and also to echoland base camp for the hakuba valley shuttle. Buses only run a few each day and finish pretty early, best to not miss the last one as getting a taxi can be a pain! Breakfast needs to be booked by 10am from the previous day, but it's amazing, highly recommended.

We loved staying at Tokiwa-Tei and enjoyed the warmest welcome from Keika and and all the staff during our time. Beautiful Japanese and Western breakfasts on offer every morning and amazing proximity to the Escal Plaza bus stop and Hakuba Goryu resort were just a few of many holiday highlights for us in Hakuba. We had the best time! The accommodation was extremely clean and comfortable with great facilities, including a storage area for all of our ski and snowboard gear. There’s also a bus station right down the street that takes you to Iwatake (which you can then transfer to another bus that takes you to every resort.) The best part were the owners — they were so kind and welcoming even though we did not speak Japanese. They cooked us breakfast and dinner and both were so delicious. We highly recommend and would definitely stay again! Thank you so much for the wonderful stay😁

Lovely and cosy lodge close to the action in Hakuba. All details were perfect. Loved the touch of the illustrated postcards left as a gift for each of our guests!
