Located within 4.1 km of Jigokudani Monkey Park and 10 km of Ryuoo Ski Park in Yamanouchi, Yorozuya features accommodation with seating area. This is probably one of the best ryokan in japan! High value! The onsen is very spectacular. It will stay in my heart forever. For sure I will come back.

A 5-minute walk from Yudanaka Train Station, Tawaraya offers Japanese-style accommodations with free Wi-Fi and a flat-screen TV. The staff is truly amazing! The lady who runs the Onsen is a delight. She speaks great english and she is very helpful. They all make you feel very welcoming. The place is neat, everything and everywhere is super clean. You can see that they truly embody the Japanese spirit of putting the heart into everything they do. I'd totally recommend this place to anyone who wants a true Onsen experience.

At Daymaruya Ryokan, guests can enjoy hot-spring baths and traditional Japanese-style accommodations with free wired internet access. Everything was perfect! The staff was incredibly kind, came to pick me up at the station and then offered to take me to the monkey park. The hotel was nice, clean and the indoors and outdoors baths were great. A very calm place. I totally would recommend!!

Aburaya Tousen offers luxurious contemporary Japanese-style accommodation with an amazing 11 types of hot-spring baths and free WiFi. The room included a sauna and a private onsen on the balcony. Right after seeing the room and the facilities we decided to extend our stay for another night to enjoy the place and the onsen. We had a private dinner with good food selection (the staff also introduced us to every Japanese dish that we were served and made suggestions for the next day's dinner). The owner of the hotel was also very nice and joined us for dinner.

Located in Yamanouchi, 4.3 km from Jigokudani Monkey Park, 塵表閣本店 features accommodation with a hot spring bath, a hot tub and a public bath. I liked the dog so much ! I love waking up to the snow every morning and they welcome me with a warm coffee. They felt like a family to me. I enjoyed staying with them. They tried their best to understand English and they were very hospitable. Thank you!

志賀高原 白い温泉 渓谷の湯 in Yamanouchi provides adults-only accommodation with an open-air bath and a shared lounge. The accommodation has a spa bath and a private open-air bath. Essentially a ski in ski out hotel. Private and public onsens were wonderful. Food was great and staff were really friendly and helpful.

Located in Yamanouchi, 4.1 km from Jigokudani Monkey Park, Shoraiso provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. The room was very spacious which allow dinner to be served in the room. Excellent food and value for money.

Hotarutei Villas provides a hot spring bath and free private parking, and is within 4.4 km of Jigokudani Monkey Park and 14 km of Ryuoo Ski Park. Beautiful villa with a private onsen, with an amazing view of the mountains. Dinner and breakfast were very good. Location perfect for visiting the snow monkeys. Staff were very friendly. Overall a great stay; wish we could have stayed longer!
