Excellent location, close to Okunoin Temple and Cemetery. Room were clean and warm as it was freezing outside. Breakfast and Dinner were delicious. You could participate in the ceremonies conducted by the temple monks. The night tour was also informative.

Excellent place to stay on the Kumano Kodo trail. Close to the bus stop. The host is very friendly. They offer excellent food. Our room was Japanese style. Very clean, comfortable and beautiful. I highly recommend this place.

39 km from Kishi Station in Koyasan, 高野山 宿坊 光明院 -Koyasan Shukubo Komyoin- provides accommodation with access to a hot tub. It is situated 45 km from Matsushita Park and offers luggage storage space. Great location, just a few minutes’ walk from the start of the atmospheric path to Okunoin Temple. Food was excellent and the Buddhist monks who run the place take good care of you. The meditation sessions, and especially the fire ritual, are memorable. Fantastic value overall.

It was very pleasant to stay at Surf Imin G-Sun. The room was very organized and clean. There is a charger, a lamp and a little fan for every bed. The quality of the accomodation/price ratio is very great. Takaji, the owner was fun and nice. We enjoyed our stay even if it was rainy. The beach, which is very close, is very fun and beautiful. There was a lot of people surfing there. Don’t hesitate to book, you will not regret it!

Located in the sacred Mount Koya area, 高野山 宿坊 桜池院 -Koyasan Shukubo Yochiin- is a historic temple and an accommodation for visitors. The room was brand new, with tatami floors and garden view. The staff was very welcoming and the morning buddhist ceremony was a wonderful experience (the monk explained the process in english and showed us the shrine afterwards). The public bath was very clean and enjoyable. The food was excellent !
