J-Hoppers Kumano Yunomine Guesthouse is situated in Hongu, a 10-minute drive away or a 70-minute walk on the Kumano Kodo Pilgrimage Route from Kumano Hongu Taisha Grand Shrine. This hostel is perfect for staying one night or even more. The private Onsen is really nice. The Onsen village is unique. Yosuke and his karadabar class was amazing. Highly recommended.

Buddhist temple berusia 1000 tahun, Shukubo Koya-san Eko-in menawarkan penginapan gaya Jepun, taman yang indah serta Wifi percuma. Excellent location, close to Okunoin Temple and Cemetery. Room were clean and warm as it was freezing outside. Breakfast and Dinner were delicious. You could participate in the ceremonies conducted by the temple monks. The night tour was also informative.

The quality of the accomodation/price ratio is very great. Takaji, the owner was fun and nice. We enjoyed our stay even if it was rainy. The beach, which is very close, is very fun and beautiful. There was a lot of people surfing there. Don’t hesitate to book, you will not regret it!

Located in the sacred Mount Koya area, 高野山 宿坊 桜池院 -Koyasan Shukubo Yochiin- is a historic temple and an accommodation for visitors. The room was brand new, with tatami floors and garden view. The staff was very welcoming and the morning buddhist ceremony was a wonderful experience (the monk explained the process in english and showed us the shrine afterwards). The public bath was very clean and enjoyable. The food was excellent !
