Deep Blue is a private villa offering rooms with boutique style décor in Matara, 500 metres from Polhena beach. It has a private beach area and an outdoor swimming pool. Seaside resort with a nice swimming pool. Nice beach house feel to the room which had a large balcony and outdoor bed and relax chairs as well as a table where you can sit and play games or read or eat. Inside there’s a small kitchen a good fridge good shower everything is very spacious. The bed has a mosquito net. The pool area is very nice with deck chairs. The pool is suitable for children as it has various levels. For a few dollars they arrange breakfast for you, which is toast and fruit, eggs, jam, coffee and tea. The manager arranged a scooter for us to use at a very decent price so we could go to town or the neighboring town Mirissa to explore and for food. There are a few people staying on the property who look after you in every way you need. For example, in the evening they bring some mosquito repellent you can have breakfast at any time you want, etc.. On low tide, you can swim from a beach, but the water is very shallow and because of that you don’t see anything so no snorkeling. Still great to be able to go into the sea from the hotel on this private beach. All in all fantastic I would recommend anyone for a few days relaxation .

Everyone is so friendly and attentive. We absolutely loved kenny and his sneaky smile everytime he joked. Food is absolutely top notch. Beautiful aesthetic rooms, beach is beautiful full of corals and shells.

We had an absolutely comfortabel stay in Sea Light. The location is amazing. We needed 5min to Secret Beach and only 10 min to Weligama. The host is very helpful! we could use their big wash machine for our laundry, he arranged a scooter for us and on the day we left we stored our luggage and he offered us the shower to fresh up before traveling further.
