Loved the dine-around programme - it’s makes such a change from buffet everyday. Everything included, even the mini bar. Staff were great. Food was the best we’ve had in the Maldives. Comfortable bed. Easy to use app to book the restaurants and order extra towels etc. Rooms and all resort areas were super clean. Transfers were seemless. The sea was a great depth for swimming. The house reef was amazing for snorkeling and diving but the current can get a bit strong later in the afternoon. Can see reef sharks, manta ray, turtles and even dolphins right in the resort.

Facing the beachfront, Sun Siyam Olhuveli offers 4-star accommodations in South Male Atoll and features an outdoor swimming pool, fitness center and garden.

Fantastic stay at Sun Siyam, we are very happy we chose this hotel, in my view it should be 5*. We came family with 2 kids and booked their water villas with pool, we loved the villa and its amenities with a splendid view on the ocean. Staff is so friendly and make you feel at home, a big thank you to Hanane and Adam at the reception and the cleaning team at our Room. They also have so many activities to do, we took the floating breakfast, water activities, dolphin boat tour, snorkeling and we loved it, the team there at the water activities are friendly as well. thanks to Zayn Definitely we will come back.

Everything. This is for sure the best hotel of Male! We tried the deluxe room (with sea view). So spacious and the view oh my god amazing sea view so so beautiful you see the sea from everywhere from the kitchen from the bed from the bath tub… the apartment is so well designed for the space.and very calm not noisy at all. Fully equipped kitchen if you need washing machine oven microwave everything is there. And there is a restaurant downstairs which is very convenient for breakfast or diner. The restaurant opens at 8am but the hotel proposed the option to have a breakfast box earlier before the opening because our flight was too earlier we had to leave at 7am. The staff is very nice and find solution for everything you need. Very helpful. There is no free transfer to airport included but the hotel booked a taxi for us which we paid by card to them which is very convenient as we didn’t have loc cash, and the hotel didn’t charge any commission of extra fee for the taxi booking (cost 6$). We didn’t try the penthouse as it was fully booked unfortunately but we expect it to be exceptional and hope to try it next time!
