One of the highlights of our trip was witnessing the Northern Lights for two consecutive nights—a breathtaking display we’ll never forget. Adding to the magic, we spotted two wild moose during our stay, a surreal moment that truly connected us to the untamed beauty of the area. A special thanks to Thomas, the owner, whose kindness and attention to detail made our experience even more memorable. He helped us find exciting activities and ensured we felt welcome every step of the way. The setting of the campsite is beyond words—raw, wild, and incredibly beautiful. For anyone looking to immerse themselves in nature and experience the wonders of the Arctic, this is the place to be. Larseng Kystferie has mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, set in Larseng, 28 km from University of Tromsø. With garden views, this accommodation offers a balcony. Everything was perfect. This location is amazing. If you have a rental car don’t miss this place. The host are very helpful and nice. The house is exactly like in the picture. We really enjoy our time spent here. The view is stunning!

Koppangen Brygger is a 20-minutes' drive from the Lyngseidet town centre. Located in a quiet seaside fishing village, you can enjoy impressive views of the fjords and the Northern Lights if lucky. Wonderful location right by the fjord! Mr. Alf was really helpful and had some good advice on where to go skitouring despite the weather (we were a bit unlucky as it just didn't stop snowing). The room was very clean and we loved relaxing in the common/living room with a beautiful view - highly recommend this place!

Yggdrasil Farmhotel Retreat, Spa & Yoga is located on Kvaløya island, 50-minutes drive from central Tromsø. Free WiFi access is available at the farm. Every little detail is thought through. One of the most charming hotel restaurants I have ever been to, with exceedingly delicious cakes and an exquisite and original breakfast; lunch and dinner are delicious too. Jacuzzi under northern lights is absolutely something. The sauna by the sea has breathtaking views. I would not hesitate coming back!
