Fiordland Discovery offers a scenic overnight boat cruise around New Zealand's iconic Milford Sound. This is a very comfortable new boat that hosts maximum 22 guests in nine cabins. Milford sound is one of the most beautiful places in the world that I have seen, and I have seen a lot. The crew was excellent, I can’t praise enough our Skipper, his first mate Jack, the chef who served the wonderful meal, and the girls that were taking care of us in a polite and friendly way.

Jeff prepared an excellent breakfast each morning. Relaxing in the hot tub under the stars after a day of trekking, fabulous!

We truly did not want to leave (even in the rain)! I cannot praise the hosts or this apartment enough! The decor and furnishings were absolutely wonderful and made such an inviting and enjoyable environment. And the outdoor space: SPECTACULAR VIEWS, great table as well as seating area - and a hot tub! We were just stunned when we arrived to the 270 degree view. The pantry was really well stocked: cereals, milk, wine, chocolate, etc. -- above and beyond any other place we stayed on the trip!! The 'chilly bin' and water bottles were quite handy to borrow for our day trip to Milford Sound. If you needed something, it was likely there. Plus Susanna was a lovely host - she met us when we arrived and provided a great overview.

Host meeting you on arrival - staff appear whether you wander out of your room and ask if they can assist. Amazing service. Every member of the team was perfectly polite, engaging, and responsive. They will organise anything that you want - trips across the surrounding area. One couple had a helicopter trip and it literally landed on the lawn of the place. That is defeintly the way to end a long day! Location - stunning is the word you will probably read most about this place. And it actually is. Room - we had the room with the terrace - I would book this again - as you walk straight out from your room into a courtyard which is in the shade and sun in the afternoon. This is an all-inclusive accommodation - it has to be as it is a trek from the local towns. The food was extremely good. It was never too much or too little the chief has got the balance right. At the end of the trip I left items in the room (very annoyed with myself) the owner looked after them and made sure we got them back. Everything was amazing

This accommodation was very comfortable and clean. A lovely modern room.Laura was so friendly and accommodating. The plus was the spa tub and the lovely garden.

Located adjacent to Lake Te Anau, Tasman Holiday Parks - Te Anau offers a children’s playground, a hot tub and BBQ facilities. All accommodation features a flat-screen TV. Friendly to family. Playground in the property looks so fun but we have not got time to enjoy. Short walk to huge public playground. Opposite to the lake with stunning views. Best choice to stay here.
