Wild Kea Lodge Franz Josef offers a modern accommodation across three wings in the Franz Josef Glacier Village, just a10-minute drive from Franz Josef Glacier and 30-40 minutes for Fox Glacier. The staff is extremely helpful, the lodge offers lots of complementary services (popcorn, soup, bikes) and the location is perfect even if, like me, you don't have a car.

Each of these stylish self-contained holiday apartments includes a fireplace. Guests can relax in the hot tub or seasonal outdoor heated pool. Guests enjoy access to free WiFi. The room was very pretty and very comfortable. We enjoyed the outdoor space with the hot tub and fireplace one evening since the weather was so pleasant. The walk into town takes about 10 minutes but it's a lovely walk and the neighborhood is beautiful with many nice homes and yards.

Archway Motels & Chalets offers quiet and secluded accommodation, only 200 metres from Lake Wanaka. Mark gave very good recommendations on the available activities and dining options that catered to everyone in the family. Room was very clean and bright.

The reception was very welcoming. They also provided shuttle to the car rental place which was a major bonus! All and all very well kept place and would recommend!

We stayed in 2 apartments (ie 2x 2 bedrooms apartments - Suites 3&4). We arrive in the early evening hours but Check-in was totally smooth & apartments were ready (lighted), very cleaned, well furnished & kitchen fully equipped plus a delicious arrival welcome chocolate treat. These made our 2x5 nites stay exceedingly comfortable. Location was close.enough to Queenstown & Arrowtown with vehicle. Good dining options within 2mins drive from the apartments. Mountain view was fantastic especially with autumn coming. Hosts provided a very helpful comprehensive file on introduction & information of the property, things to do/visit, dining options, host's favourite activities around Queenstown region etc etc. Excellent place to stay in lieu of the Queenstown area. Extremely high chance of our return to the property.

The room design is really nice and with hot-tub outside the balcony. We really enjoy staying at the hotel, and the restaurant is also providing great dining. Totally the best experience in New Zealand trip =).

Our experience with this host was truly outstanding. From the moment we arrived she was warm, welcoming and incredibly attentive to our needs. One of the highlights of our stay was when she took us to a beautiful lookout giving us a chance to enjoy stunning views. She went beyond in every way including kindly dropping us off at the interislander terminal. We are very grateful for her hospitality and would absolutely recommend staying here to anyone visiting the area. A wonderful host and am unforgettable experience!
