The location is incredible! It's tucked away and private yet close to so many activities. We loved the beautiful view of the beach/ocean from our room and balcony. The spa is also a great bonus!! Our host was very helpful and friendly and provided lots of tips to help us really enjoy the area. We accidentally left something in our room on departure and our host kindly sent it on for us. Boasting garden views, Harakeke Hut features accommodation with an open-air bath and a balcony, around 26 km from Christ Church Cathedral, Nelson. The off -grid and outside space was amazing .. with a fab bbq and cooker plus seating and it even had a bath outside which was something else.. Melody and Mike were fab hosts and did all they could to make our stay comfortable. I loved the compost loo, fairy lights and outdoor sink too. Highly recommend if you like the outdoors and sustainability.. such a unique experience. Thank you guys 🙏🏼
