The photos and descriptions don’t do this place justice. Located in a quiet valley half an hour’s walk (or a short drive) from Ollantaytambo the Las Qolqas Eco Resort by far exceeded our expectations. The friendly and helpful staff helped us with all our questions and requests, alongside the manager and the owner of the hotel. They also recommended a Machu Picchu guide for us (Porfirio - charming and very knowledgeable) and helped us with transportation to and from the train station to get to Machu Picchu (included in our room rate). The food on site is excellent, as are the drinks. There are fireplaces in each cabin which they’ll light for you at your request. You can admire hummingbirds from the comfy chairs on your veranda while you can hear the birds chirp and the sounds of the nearby river. We also did a lovely 2hr hike (each way) on an Inka Trail to the nearby Pumamarca Ruins which was amazing and we didn’t see any other tourists the whole way - a great way you get away from the masses. Las Qolqas was easily our favourite place we stayed at in Peru.

The property was amazing and beautiful right in the middle of the mountains . The staff was amazing and went out of the way to help us out with our plans . The restaurant had a great breakfast.

The hotel boasts impressive interiors with antique exposed bricks, vaulted ceilings and sleek designer style furniture. Cusco’s cathedral and main square are only 3 blocks away. Location, cleanness, oxygen supply, kind staff, breakfast. All was good !

Aranwa is set on a sumptuous 17th century hacienda on the road to Machu Pichu. Luxurious facilities include a swimming pool, a spa featuring alternative medicine treatments and a museum. We really enjoyed this beautiful hotel. We had a beautiful colonial style room with very comfortable beds. The hotel grounds are also very beautifully organized. The breakfast was delicious, we even ate local exotic fruits. The hotel staff is beyond praise. We were very helped during 4 days by the manager Marina Romero in organizing many of our requests. We especially enjoyed the massages done by Yuddina and Kristina in the spa salon. They are incredibly talented masseuses! A huge thank you to them for the fact that we received true relaxation after a busy active day. We recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to spend a luxurious time in Sacred Valley.

Set in a historical building just 2 blocks from Plaza de Armas square, this luxury boutique hotel offers spacious suites with free WiFi. It features a spa and outdoor swimming pool. Amazing hotel at the very center of Cusco. The building is a historical colonial house with a central patio. The rooms are modern, spacious and very well decorated. Big beds. Oxygen in rooms is available in case you may need it. The staff are super friendly, eager to please and ready to help. Buffet breakfast is excellent and very abundant. Special mention to Soraida and Fernando there. An experience not to miss.
