Mactan Newtown 8 boulevard Deluxe se nachází v destinaci Punta Engaño a může se pochlubit balkonem s výhledem na moře a na bazén. Great area with restaurants, 7/11, Starbucks etc. 16th floor. A very nice welcoming with fruit etc. Also has filtered water which is great. Wifi a bit flaky but that’s not the hosts fault. We had a great 5 nites here before leaving Cebu. It is close to airport.

Great atmosphere in the room especially when bringing a girl over. You turn off all the lights except the green lights in the living room and blue lights in the bedroom; perfect atmosphere. The smart TV’s in the rooms were awesome you can put in the cool lights and play music off YouTube on the tv and the women love it! Balcony was great also. Good restaurant downstairs with cheap laundry and nice convenient store. 10/10 would stay again.

Bluewater Maribago Beach Resort is 16km away from Cebu City. It offers free Wi-Fi and parking and has swimming pools, a spa, fitness centre and various sporting activities. We stayed at Bluewater Maribago as a family with two little boys (2 years and 2 months, and 5 months old), right after a long journey from Germany—and it was exactly what we needed. We originally booked 3 nights but extended to 4 because it was just the perfect place to adjust to the climate and recover. The resort is beautiful, well-maintained, and incredibly family-friendly. The pools were a big hit with the kids, and while we didn’t swim much at the beach, our toddler spent hours happily playing in the sand. That kind of distraction made everything easier for us as parents. The food was outstanding—we had the breakfast and dinner buffet daily at Allegro Restaurant and loved the variety and quality. But what really made this stay special was the staff. The resort’s core value, Amuma (a Bisaya word meaning to pamper or care), isn’t just a slogan—it’s something you feel in every interaction. Big thanks to Joyce and the welcoming team at the Allegro entrance, Jeff and Richell from the juice bar who took great care of us in the afternoons, and especially Carlos at the kinilaw buffet, who we saw more than once step through a potted plant (literally) to help guests at the nearby self-service station. That kind of extra effort and warmth was everywhere. If you’re arriving in Cebu with kids—or just need a peaceful, genuine place to land—this is it. We left feeling refreshed, grateful, and truly cared for.

Shangri-La's Mactan Resort offers a luxurious beach escape with an outdoor pool and both free in-room Wi-Fi and wired internet. Breakfast was amazing, so many to choose with filipino delicacies that i have missed eating. The beach, i love the beach. The pool everything is perfect.

There were cheaper rooms but I chose the more expensive because of the extra comfort and facilities.Everything worked perfectly and the fittings were of a high standard from the full sized fridge and quality stove top to the high pressure shower with ample hot water... The Samsung 55 inch smart TV had Netflix available and there was another TV in the sitting area... The lighting was very good with added blue light that gave the room a very romantic feel... The Wi-Fi worked perfectly and there were many restaurants within close walking distance and a Robinson's supermarket 15 minutes walk away. Literally 5 minutes drive from the airport.
