QUINTA ALTO DO RIO se nachází v destinaci Cinfães a poskytuje venkovní bazén, zahradu, sdílený lounge, terasu, bar a výhled na řeku. What a beautiful relaxing place to stay. The staff are attentive and helpful. We arrived at 3pm and were able to have lunch and a drink on the patio enjoying the views up and down the river. Our room was very comfortable and clean with a large sliding door out onto a deck from where we could enjoy the views and a welcome drink. The pool was nice and refreshing to swim in after a day exploring. Breakfast was really nice with cooked on demand option of eggs and bacon along with a continental selection. The bed was comfortable with lovely bedding on it and the bathroom was very clean and serviced daily. Hint - it is difficult to find places to eat in the small township during the week that are open, we chose to eat in two out of three nights, the food was well cooked and tasty but not spectacular and on par with everything else in the area price / standard / recipie wise.

We recently stayed at Helena’s house and were very impressed. The property was spacious, offering plenty of room to move around comfortably. Everything was spotless, with a noticeable attention to cleanliness throughout. Helena prepared a breakfast fit for kings! Her hospitality shines through. Highly recommended!

Charming and attentive host, wonderful breakfast.

Offering an outdoor pool and hot tub, Douro Suites is situated in Baião in the Norte Region Region, 43 km from Porto. The accommodation boasts a spa bath. Guimarães is 41 km away. We arrived and were told by Tania that we'd been upgraded. What a surprise. It was perfect, right on the breathtaking river, with so many facilities to enjoy. I thoroughly recommend this place, I can't imagine it getting any better than this.
