The level of customer service here is outstanding—the team is always smiling, attentive, and genuinely engaged in making your stay special. One thing that might take a little getting used to is the pool water, which is salty and mineralized. Children, in particular, may need some time to adapt, and even for adults, the first dip can be a bit surprising. However, the pool itself is wonderful—no crowds, plenty of free sun loungers, and a relaxing atmosphere. The rooms, all featuring balconies, are well-designed and cleaned daily. A complimentary airport transfer is a great added convenience. Breakfast is generous and diverse, combining classic options with local flavors—there’s something for everyone. The hotel’s location is fantastic, right next to the Old Town and just steps away from a beautiful park entrance. We are truly grateful for a wonderful stay and would like to send our best regards to the entire hotel staff. We hope to return someday!

It is right at the center of the old town where plenty of restaurants, cafes, shops, and massage places abound. It is also a short walking distance to the two most popular temples in old town Chiangmai. We were particularly pleased and pleasantly surprised when the long road next to the hotel was turned into a night shopping street (apparently this is done every Sunday). Right outside the Old City Spa, is a stand alone travel & tours outlet which sells all the famous Chiangmai day tours at a discount. You cannot find anything cheaper elsewhere. This hotel really has every advantage in terms of location. We also love our room. It is quite big and very clean. The beds are comfortable, and the block out curtains helped us have a good night sleep. But the best part of The Old City Rooms is the kindness of the owner. They responded to all our queries in a timely manner, accommodated all our requests, made sure we are always comfortable, and in our last day they even allowed us to use the shower after our day tour before our flight even if it was way beyond check out time (we we're also lucky nobody booked the room for that day so we were allowed to check out late). When you stay at this hotel, do not miss the spa experience, which they offer for guests at a huge discount. Amazing spa facilities. We enjoyed everything especially the ice plunge. This hotel is highly recommended and will be my only go-to hotel every time I'm in Chiangmai.

Our stay was excellent: the room and bathroom were spacious and spotless, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The hotel’s pool and gym are top-notch, and the breakfast offered a wide, delicious variety. Management went above and beyond with a thoughtful welcome bag of quality chocolates and juice and a charming souvenir at check-out. Great management and service throughout — we will definitely be back.

And the room was clean and spacious and the location in the old part of town was perfect. However the standout for us was the staff, anything we asked about they went beyond. When we asked about bus travel to Chiang Rai, not only did they guide us to the appropriate website, when our bank card didn't work they used their own and we only had to reimburse them. Their kindness saved us so much time and trouble.

You get the traditional feelings from the decoration but everything is new and clean. The staff there made the experience staying there even more memorable, they were kind, personable, friendly and thoughtful. Highly recommend this place.

Experience timeless hospitality at Chiang Mai Marriott Hotel, the only Marriott International property in Chiang Mai. The hotel location is great. It overlooks the night market, which means its nice and quiet during the day and lively and colorful at night. It is walking distance to the old city and to many excellent restaurants. The staff is extremely friendly. Would like to call out concierge Krit: he was exceptionally forthcoming with help and information.

Four Seasons Resort Chiang Mai overlooks rice fields and mountains in Mae Rim Valley. It features luxurious bungalows with outdoor living spaces. A spa and outdoor swimming pool is available. This is the best resort we have ever stayed at.The nature is absolutely divine, the kindness and atentiveness of the staff was next level. The food in all the restaurants was perfect. The peace and sounds of birds and nature was heavenly. I wish we could have stayed longer, we will definitely be back.
