The unit was immaculately clean, with fresh linens, towels and extra blankets provided. The wood fired hot tub was a fun experience! Located on the lovely Gowan Valley Guest Farm, a gorgeous property where you can enjoy spectacular river views and forest greenery (the short Forest Walk through the property should not be missed!).

Ryan and Danny were awesome and very knowledgable hosts and the cooking staff were very talented and friendly. The hiking was unparalleled and the view from our rondavel was breath-taking. We had no reason to leave and immersed ourselves in the experience for several days of hiking, swimming and relaxing. If you enjoy hiking and aspire to hike the Central Drakensberg mountains, this is THE place to stay.

Located around a privately owned lake with views of the Drakensberg mountain range, Sani Valley Nature Lodges offers secluded chalet accommodation in a tranquil setting with game viewing... We stayed 3 nights at the bushman lodge with our two daughters, age 2 and 4. In the five weeks we’ve travelled the country, this accommodation was high in our top 3. It’s remote, but it’s spacious rooms and balcony with jacuzzi, the tranquillity of nature, the views, delicious food, etc, the whole family loved it. The place was unreal. So beautiful with the river rushing through trees. The bed was completely luxurious and the attention to detail outstanding. The biscuits given with tea were home made, as were the scented shower bombs - just amazing. I asked for a takeaway breakfast which Tanya happily provided which was delicious. One of the best places I've stayed in South Africa. Would 100% go back.
