IsraelOwner and staff hospitality. Room was specious, modern, and very clean. The view from the terrace was magnificent (we reserved a room with the castle view, but honestly the valley is beautiful so the view from other rooms would not be disappointing). Breakfast was great. The atmosphere was relaxed and calm. What else can you ask for?
In addition, the location is perfect for visiting Eisriesenwelt cave. We reserved tickets for the first group of the day, so the hike up was cool and refreshing, the cave was not crowded (yet), and we were even allowed to take pictures inside the cave :)
Originally we booked one night, but we ended up staying 2 nights. We really liked the place!

United StatesBoutique Hotel Alpenhof was just a wonderful place to spend our New Year's Eve vacation. The town, the people, the restaurants were all just wonderful. The restaurant at the Alpenhof was always so cozy and warm. You can tell that Peter and Annemarieke put in a lot of effort to make the place so welcoming to the guests. The breakfast every morning was so great. Annemarieke and Peter are excellent hosts. The details of the breakfast room and all around the hotel made our stay so special. Both of them took always the time to give us hints about the town and were just so wonderful to talk to every day. For New Year's Eve, they hosted a dinner and party and it was the best meal and party we have ever been to. All the guests connected and Peter and Annemarieke did such an awesome job with everything that night!

LithuaniaEverything was new! Clean, modern and spacious. Has a nice balcony and views to the mountains, train station and town. Good beds. They have a paid parking, but there’s also a possibility to park your car in the parking lot to the left of the hotel building. It’s paid, but costs less (free during night hours). You can buy parking in the evening and it will start counting in the morning only.
