I love the Byron Bay Markets, you can spend hours here! There is live music, food stalls, arts&craft, jewelry, beautiful gifts, fashion, great coffee, handcraft, healing (massage, Reiki etc). A must do when in Byron!! Just check the dates - I think they are on every first weekend of the month.
I had been so looking forward to these markets but the Butler Street Reserve location (will the Railway Reserve is renovated) was a dingy, muddy pit post-rain. It may be better and more populated in better weather?
Fabulous. Great how the food stalls were around the perimeter of markets & with live music too. Friendly people. Lots of variety & handmade wares. Easy to while away hours outdoors on a Sunday.
We were fortunate enough to hit both the monthly market full of interest things made locally. And the farmers market which was a little small but we managed to buy food for a couple of meals - really fresh food
