Everything is excellent and I usually don't rate that high. Great location, lots of restaurants. Very quiet. Great breakfast included. The room and bathroom have a nice size. The price is great too compared to others. To get to CBD, central Sidney, you walk about 5-7 minutes to Train 1 or 9, or Metro. Within 15 minutes you are at city hall. It costs me 1 Australian dollar using T1,T9.

Our stay was well beyond my expectations. Initially I was a little worried, as it was a little outside of my price range. I liked the idea that it was nonprofit and sustainable and I thought the proximity of the animals would be fun for my daughter. The staff was amazing...extremely helpful and kind and always went the extra mile to help us to feel welcome. This never happens, but the view was even better than what's listed on the site. We had a room facing the opera house and it was stunning...we also had an adorable koala outside our room constantly. Just like in the picture. Really. There were several extras that I hadn't anticipated...a morning and evening zoo walk and a tour of a little area made available only to guests. The staff was extremely knowledgeable and you could tell the zoo was working more as an animal sanctuary. I would 1000% recommend this to anyone. It's also extremely accessible, so my daughter and I were able to use it as a home base for exploring other parts of the city. We often came back with tons of sand between our toes and still had time to enjoy the view and the animals.

We stayed at the Sofitel Hotel in Circular Quay and had amazing views of the Quay. In the daytime we would have a very pleasant walk around the Quay and along the coastline which led us to Sydney harbour, where we could easily hop onto a boat to visit other places like Manly beach. During the evenings we would visit the many lovely restaurant and bars around the Quay and admire the boats. It’s well worth a visit.

A must is the view from Circular Quay Railway station, its th best free view of the Sydney Harbour Bridge, Harbour and Opera House. (Local secret if you want an even better view) head towards the Oprah house as you get to the lsat ferry wharf under the Cahill express way you'll see a lift that looks like it goes nowhere, but it takes you up to the Cahill Expressway. from there you'll have 360 degree views of Sydney city, bridge and harbour.

Ferries, trains, trams, buses to anywhere you like.

Ferries, trains, trams, buses to anywhere you like. Download the public transport app to plan your trip. Oh and the bridge the opera house and if you're lucky one of those massive cruise ships will be in. They are like floating cities, quite a sight. There's usually some street entertainment in the area too.

It’s a bit of walking.

It’s a bit of walking. Especially if you are going to the opera house as well. So travel light. If you have small kids (or a tired Grandma) take one of those fold up beach trolleys ($75 from Kmart) those things are priceless when lugging kids and stuff around! (And tired Grandmas)

Everything is a stone throw from the Quay view Opera House, walk over Sydney Harbour Bridge, The Botanical Gardens, Lady Macquarie's Chair visit the historical Rocks have a beer in the oldest pubs in Sydney a few claim to be. Macquarie Street is a walk up the road there is an amazing amount of history in this street, the first signs from penal colony to a colony, might be best during the week where you can access some of the buildings. If none of that suits just sit and enjoy the worldof circular key coffee and watching the world go by

Location was very good Very near restaurants and a convenience store, darling harbour and circular quay is in easy walking distance, Wynyard train station is very close by, great check out receptionist, very professional and even looked after our bags for a few hours. Based on the location and in Sydney the price was good and as such allowances need to be made that it was an average apartment but ok.

Can't ask for a better location. Rooftop pool area has direct sight lines to the opera house and the bridge. Hotel is located right in the rocks so is walking distance to great restaurants, shops, the bridge climb base, opera house, botanic gardens, and Circular Quay railway/ferry station. Beds are very comfortable. Reasonably good value for money.

Cubicle style bunks with heavy curtain and small # guests per room help with privacy. Guests were respectful and quiet and did their dishes! A good place for working people or students - not a party hostel. Staff were wonderful. Good walkable location - felt safe though I was not out at night much past 7pm. Thousands of restaurants and shops in vicinity. Nice 30 minutes walk to Opera House, Circular Quay, Botanic Garden, The Rocks, or Darling Harbor, or 5 minute walk to Sydney's excellent public transport system.

This was our 3rd stay at the Amora Jamison and this time we were travelling with friends. We arrived early and were given a complimentary early check in which we were thankful for. Check in was smooth and we all had rooms on the fifth floor. Everything was very clean and the beds are firm, but comfortable. The location is fantastic as we were spending time in Circular Quay and the Rocks. The price compared to other hotels in this area of Sydney was very good. The buffet breakfast was nice.

The view from the apartment was excellent. 180 degree view of Sydney Harbour, Harbour Bridge and part of Luna Park, night time view is even more stunning. The location is also very good, it was about a 5-10 minute walk to Milson Point Ferry terminal which then takes about 5 minutes to get to Circular Quay. The apartment overall is good with everything our family needed. The kids really enjoyed the indoor pool on the second floor and the Gym was very handy.

A very nice well appointed apartment, all very new and nice, in a classic older building. Area is very nice, older Sydney, and just an easy hour walk to circular quay. One parking lot per apartment was good. Facilities list missed including the washer dryer facilities although shared in the parking area.
