Everything! Best hotel stay we’ve ever had. Location was amazing, staff super friendly and helpful. Views were breathtaking. Everyone went out of their way to make our stay a pleasant one. No mountain was too high. Hotel is clean and modern. Room was big, bathroom super comfortable. Room service was fast and so delicious! Turn down service every night to make sure we had all we needed for the night. Highly recommend!

Everything is excellent and I usually don't rate that high. Great location, lots of restaurants. Very quiet. Great breakfast included. The room and bathroom have a nice size. The price is great too compared to others. To get to CBD, central Sidney, you walk about 5-7 minutes to Train 1 or 9, or Metro. Within 15 minutes you are at city hall. It costs me 1 Australian dollar using T1,T9.

All of the Staff at the curb entrance were excellent as was the front desk (Poppie). We also experienced the Broadway play “Hamilton” at the hotel theatre. It was phenomenal.

Where to start? Being an Ace Hotel it's obviously very stylish. The room was super comfy and quiet (except for one incident). Really nice bar (with DJ in the evening) and restaurant. The service and staff were exceptional. We arrived very early but because it was my birthday they found us a room that we could check in and freshen up straight away. I can't recommend this hotel highly enough. Location is also very good, in easy walking distance to Central and Museum station and to Surry Hill. We will be back!

We always enjoy a walk across the bridge.

We always enjoy a walk across the bridge. Easy to access via public transport. Catch the train to Milsons Point. Climb stairs to bridge walk and enjoy the views as you cross. Descend into the Rocks shopping area and walk around to Circular Quay.

We have a room with the panoramic view of Sydney opera house and harbour bridge which is so perfect for vivid sydney season. The room is spacious and they gave Us a free champagne and a slice of cake as a welcome and birthday treat. We also enjoy the buffet breakfast choices and the club lounge access. I had a very relaxing holiday because of this hotel. Thank you for the upgrade offer Cristine and it's definitely worth the additional costs. I can't wait to come back in this hotel on my next visit to Sydney. Happy customer here😊.

Reception staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms are large and very comfortable. We had a harbor view which had a beautiful view of a small yacht harbor and the city skyline. The hotel is within walking distance to the Royal Botanical Gardens and ultimately to the Opera House and Harbour Bridge. Public transport is easy and there are always taxis waiting outside. The building is a very interesting and exciting monument and has been very sympathetically designed for reuse.

Location was great with amazing waterfront views of the city and harbour bridge. Roomy and comfortable for a small family or two couples. Reasonably quiet location at end of dead-end street, busy bus route though with bus stop situated at front door so was a bit noisy at times but not excessively. Easy to get to with both the ferry and bus stops at your door. Shops located within walking distance. Two park lands situated either side great for a quick walk. Overall comfort was good, would definitely consider again if staying in Sydney.

Great location! You have the Harbour Bridge right behind you, but no associated noise. Ferries are just a short walk away. The Lavender Bay view was very calming, even given the closeness of the Luna Park. We loved the detailed booklet with apartment details, which also gave an insight into the city transportation system and a glimpse of what to do. Great idea, way to go, very helpful. You get two keys, which is quite rare.

We arrived early after a long day of travel. The staff was so friendly, let us stow our bags, and allowed us to use one of the showers to freshen up so we could explore the city while waiting for our room to be ready. The rooftop terrace had an amazing view of the Harbour Bridge and Opera House. The room was not fancy (it's a hostel after all), but it was comfortable and clean.

The location was wonderful - near the Barangaroo Station, surrounded by a park, near several cafes. Views from our room were amazing. The penthouse restaurant views were astounding - Barangaroo, Harbour Bridge, Darling Harbor I loved the pub! The historical value of Hotel Palisade was a big plus.
