Apparition Hill
Originally known as Mount Podbrdo, this Međugorje landmark rose to fame in 1981, when locals reported a series of apparitions of the Virgin Mary. It is a MUST GO place.
It is a MUST GO place. Yes, there is a hill to get there, but its very possible to climb it. When you get there is a peacefull place and an awasome place to see the sundown (and probably the sunshine, too).
Medjugorje is a piece of heaven. And the BEST PLACE to eat!!!

Hostess, Ivana, cooked an awesome breakfast for us each morning. The rooms were simple but spotless and Ivana was very hospitable. The location is great and within an easy walking distance to St James Church and Apparition Hill. Ivana also permitted my family and friends to gather in the evening in the breakfast room which was very nice. Here, we met and conversed with other travelers.

Location - we loved to be close to the Apparition Hill and a 20 min walk from the city downtown; Cleanliness - the bed sheets smelled fresh out of the laundry; Friendly staff - Magdalena is very polite and responsive.

This is a very new well designed very modern hotel. Ideal location for visiting pilgrimage sites. A lovely walking trail leaves from the parking lot to Apparition hill site. The church is just a few hundred meters away. Plenty of restaurants. Breakfast was very good.

Hospitality was great! Staff is very attentive. Very clean place/room, beds very comfortable. Spaceous room. The breakfast was very good and the location of the hotel was very close in walking distance to the church, risen Christ, Apparition Hill. In all, it is a very great place to stay. I highly recommend it. Free parking!

We've spent every evening in the garden in front of the house. Chatting with hosts, enjoying peace and quiet and beautiful garden. Pleasant people, peaceful place, summer nights are beautiful. No need to use air conditioning while you're sleeping. Just open the windows at night, enjoy fresh air and have beautiful sleep. Bed is very comfortable. Kravice Waterfall is 10 minutes with car, Apparition Hill is 5 minutes, Mostar Old Bridge 45 minutes... Villa Meca also have private parking lot. Price for apartment is excellent.

Very nice location. A short walk to the church and apparition hill. Also close to stores and restaurants. The hotel was very clean and welcoming. The rooms were simple but nice. We had a great stay.

The team at this hotel puts a lot of effort into everything they do and the breakfasts were delicious, apart from the fresh fruits, the varieties of tea, the cheeses and all the other things. I couldn’t be at a better place, the location is excellent and walking distance to St James, apparition hill, stores, restaurants and many other places
