We recently stayed at Empyrean Dhaka City Centre and had an overall pleasant experience. The hotel gave us a complimentary upgrade to their Presidential Suite, which was a nice touch. The room was spacious, well-maintained, and offered a unique view of the nearby aviation area. Watching helicopters and small planes take off and land was unexpectedly enjoyable and added a unique charm to our stay. The rooftop restaurant, "Sauce and Spice," provided a great ambiance with an even better view of the city and the aviation activities. Food-wise, some dishes stood out more than others. The Mutton Rogan Josh was exceptional—highly recommended. We also enjoyed the Fish Finger, which had great presentation and taste. While the Bhuna Khichuri Beef was delightful on the first night, it felt inconsistent when we ordered it again. The Chicken Dopiaza didn’t impress us much, and unfortunately, the Hyderabadi Mutton Dum Biryani wasn’t available during our visit. Room service was available 24/7, which was a big plus, and their responsiveness, even at odd hours, was commendable. For tea lovers, it’s worth noting that they only offered English breakfast tea, which was a bit of a letdown for us. We missed having a more traditional Dhaka-style tea, something we hope they consider adding in the future. Another notable aspect was the accommodation for smokers. The smoking-friendly policy was convenient, with designated areas in the lobby, rooftop, and even our room. The suite itself was thoughtfully designed with a spacious bathroom and mirror walls, which added a touch of elegance. Small amenities like bathrobes, a microwave, and a mini fridge were appreciated, though we would have liked more hangers in the closet for our clothes. The staff were friendly and attentive. The housekeeping team did a great job, and the restaurant staff made dining a pleasant experience. Overall, it was a memorable two-night stay.

Beautiful hotel, amazing staff, great breakfast, and awesome views! What more could you want. We had a great time here and would definitely come back to stay again. The staff went above and beyond to be helpful, friendly, and so kind which we really appreciated!
