Lopes Mendes Beach
You’ll have to put in a little work to get to the deserted slice of paradise that is Lopes Mendes Beach. The T10 trail from Vila do Abraão isn’t that difficult, but the two-hour hike in sticky rain-forest climate can be a challenge. But it’s totally worth it for that moment when you finally reach the pure white sand and crystal blue waters of Ilha Grande’s most beautiful beach.

Its just a tourist trap, If I had the chance to return and opt for not pay to go there I would. In general is a beautiful beach for pictures, but not to stay or even swimming, the waves are too high and violent, are good just for surfers.Guest review byMarisiaIreland - 10.0

Stunning! Set off early morning so you get to spend the whole day at this magnificent Atlantic setting. Take the hike from Abraao and you can sail home from the nearby beach. Best bit was seeing up close a whole family of miko (marmosets).Guest review byAnabelleUnited Kingdom
