I especially appreciated the family's commitment to making our stay comfortable. We were able to get a wonderful night sleep with no noise or any other kind of nuisance in our super comfortable bed. Waking up to a freshly cooked home-made breakfast was a great surprise with a personal touch. Katherine really excelled in accommodating our requests and welcoming us.

l love the heritage buildings and history of the hotel. Fabulous, welcoming lobby, people mingled there all day long. We arrived the night Hurricane Fiona hit and the staff were stupendous. Calm and did everything possible to make our stay wonderful.

Location is excellent - you can walk anywhere and there are decent restaurants nearby. So convenient to have a good breakfast served daily and tea and coffee/espresso 24/7. The staff are terrific - very friendly and one feels at home. Very comfortable common living room where I could read and crochet.
