The hotel is right in the village and has nice views with proximity to all amenities and train station. Grindelwald still keeps an Alpine village charm which is unique.

The ski in and ski out location, the friendliness of the staff

Everything was exceptional – the breakfast was great, the rooms were clean, the staff was very friendly, and the spa was excellent. We also really appreciated that we could easily leave our luggage at the reception and store our ski equipment without any problem. The staff was always kind and helpful. Highly recommended!

Amazing hotel, nice food, lovely and friendly staff

The location is wow, a proper Swiss place to stay in. The lady at the reception took me personally to the room and showed every single thing in the building that could have came handy to me. I was impressed by her kindness to show me around, doesn’t happen often, it was like entering her own house, I got treated like a real guest.

The sink inside the room really makes my stay convenient. Very nice view and very near with the iconic waterfall. The hotel already informed us about the pub during night but the noise isn’t so loud and we had a very nice sleep for 2 nights during our stay.

The apartment was complete, ha everything we needed to cook, hang out and sleep well. Comfortable, cozy, good heater. Soooo close to the train station and supermarket. The restaurant serves excellent food, opens Wednesday to Saturday.

Nice hotel, transportation is very good from this hotel. Every 20 min bus to OST Interlaken.

Spacious room, comfy bed, free parking, communal kitchen, easy check in. For me, the bad reviews are highly unfair - ok, perhaps the decor is not according to the latest fashion, and the (beautiful wooden) floor squeaks here and there.- bur you get a lot for the price and is a certainly very good option in this area.

Kindness staff who has helpful mind for visitors and enthusiasm for make up more good hotel. I was helping by him throughout my stay period. Single room was enough space and facilities for alone trip. keeping clean the shared toilet and shower room. And location is good! This hotel is located in the main street of Meiringen.

Perfect location! We had booked a room with a balcony. The view was fabulous! Very convenient location as its just a 5-7 minute walk from the train station. They also provided us with a travel adapter for our room. Unfortunately could not taste the food at their restaurant due to time constraints. Nice bedroom and bathroom. Staff was very helpful. Great stay!
