Come here in the morning and proceed to Grindewald First and take bus 103 to Iseltwald jump into the boat in lake Brienz and finished the cruise at Interlaken Ost. Finihed all this in one day. Imagine we were 63,66 and 71 year old. Planning is must.

A nice restaurant at top. Beatiful view of the Interlaken area with incredible scenery of Brienz and Interlaken lakes.

Wonderful place to see the area and get the lay of the land!
Wonderful place to see the area and get the lay of the land! This was our first excursion in Interlaken, and I got my friends absolutely pumped as we looked at areas in the distance we would explore in the coming days. You can take a quick trip up and just enjoy the sights and restaurant, or you can explore the trails that go all along the area. There is a specific hike that is not for the faint of heart, but definitely qualifies for core memory status, and that is the Hardergrat. If you have time to plan, I’d actually start from Brienzer-Rothorn and work your way back to end at Harder Kulm, thus named Brienzergrat. It’s much easier on the knees! You essentially hike the length of Lake Brienz along the unequivocally voted Most Iconic Ridge Hike of Europe! Cheers ❤️

If you want one of the EASIEST places to visit from...
If you want one of the EASIEST places to visit from Interlaken, this is the place. It has AMAZING VIEWS of 2 different lakes and 3 small villages with mountains all around. I was in AWE and I have been to Junfraujoch, Titlis, Rigi and Gornergrat. Really loved how easy it was to just take funicular right from town. It's right behind the Beau Rivage Hotel. That hotel was also kind enough to hold our luggage while we went up the mountain....unbelievable service...with no charge (we just tipped). I went there TWICE during an overnight stay....just could not get over the views.

Breakfast was good, there were plenty of Migros Supermarket nearby, location was extremely near the Interlaken OST station and the hostel is just a short walk away from the Harder Kulm tram.

Host is a really nice person. He provided us all the details that were required for checkin or places to visit. Location of house is also great. Next to apartment, you have lidl supermarket and back side of apartment is main centre of interlaken. From the kitchen you can have view of Harder Kulm which is great.

Chalet is located on a Main Street in Interlaken. Just a short walk to public transport. Easily walkable to Harder Kulm and many restaurants/attractions. The host was very responsive to messages and accommodating.

The hotel is very well located close to the station Interlaken Ost and close to Harder Kulm, also close to the city main road. The breakfast was good, and restaurant for dinner was amazing. We had 2 rooms, tiny and bigger, both were good, the bigger one could count with a double bed instead of 2 join-singles. The hotel decor is perfect and comfy.

10/10 for location. Right outside the interlakken oost station where you can catch trains to Inter-lakken and Lauterbrunnen. The Brienz ferry also is located right outside the hotel.Harder Kulm is 10 min walk.
Perfect for those who want to use Interlakken as a base of stay for the Jungfrau region.
The staff are very friendly and polite. The hotel has a rustic charm. You have lake and mountain views from the windows.

Florian was the most efficient yet kind property manager I have ever interacted with. I loved my stay here, I loved the vintage feel and its central location. We managed to do all the main attractions within a single day (paragliding, harder kulm, old town unterseen, parks and nature reserve walk). Breakfast was really good too.
