Wow! What an amazing and surprising hotel. I travel a lot to China for work, and while good hotels are usually... just hotels, the experience at EBO was different. The hotel I usually stay at in Hangzhou wasn’t available, so I booked a room at EBO. From the outside, the hotel looked quite simple and unremarkable, which made me a bit concerned at first. However, as soon as I stepped into the lobby on the fifth floor, I discovered a hidden gem. The lobby and courtyard are beautifully designed in a Japanese/Nordic style. The check-in process was quick, and they even upgraded my room. The room itself was by far the most beautiful one I’ve stayed in over the past few years: it had a stunning view of the city, a warm and minimalist design, a huge and comfortable bed, and an enormous bathtub. There was also a built-in sound system in the room, which was super cool. After two weeks of traveling across China, I had a peaceful and relaxing evening in the room. Everything felt brand new, from the furniture to the bathroom fixtures. Breakfast was a classic Chinese breakfast—delicious for those who enjoy and are open to trying it. Personally, I enjoy a Chinese breakfast, but for those who aren’t as fond of it, I’m afraid there aren’t many “Western” options available at breakfast. The reception staff also allowed me to check out late, which I greatly appreciated. I had an amazing and unexpected experience! Can’t wait to return soon.

Best secluded location in hangzhou west lake area. the place is kept in pristine condition and staffs were all friendly and helpful. The food was excellent, the prices were reasonable. Guess room was spacious, clean and well maintained
