What a sight! There can be a long wait to get inside and the entrance fees are quite steep. A visit to the top viewing platform with is 351m high will cost around 250yuan per person. The Tower is right on the banks of the river on the Bund with its lovely, expansive walking/biking trails. You can enjoy the Tower from all angles while strolling along the banks. Evenings are especially delightful!
Amazing views and incredible 360 degree skyglass observatory! When we bought the tickets we were told there would be a 2 hour queue, fortunately we only waited for 1 hour. If you book the whole tour, you begin at the top for the views, then proceed to the lower levels including the skyglass observatory. However, by the time we finished on this level the museum at the bottom was closed; this was quite frustrating as we had paid for this as well and were not told that it would be closed.
The tower and sights were great but the museaum was fascinating. Maybe not for everyone but it showed Shanghai progressing from early on till today. Real eye opener. Took a good hour to get through but worth the time.
I like this Tower. I thought I could go to the top through the central lift, but you should take another one. It's a bit complicated and hard to go upside. But I love to spend time at here. such a lovely place to see the view of Shanghai
