Very peaceful place well kept and just beautiful to look at! The staff was very friendly and helpful, our room (bungalow) was beautiful, the breakfast was exceptional. The garden and pool are great for relaxing, lots of birds. You can walk along the beach to Puerto Viejo (1 hr), the Jaguar Rehab is close by and we found a nice little restaurant (Morian, 10 min walk) close by. We would recommend Lanna Ban to anyone who doesn’t want the hustle and bustle of Puerto Viejo.

Our room with the outdoor shower was so clean and calm and the surroundings were incredibly peaceful. Juliet is a fantastic host and the breakfast was amazing. Everything was 10/10 and we hope to return some day.

La Tica y la Gata is an amazing place to be at when visiting Puerto Viejo. True, that it is a bit away further from the beach and it is preferable to have a vehicle (bike, toktok, car) to get in and out (around 2 minutes by bike and 10 minutes walking; but the staff (the owner, her daughter and all empolyees) are very freindly and helpful. The two rooms apartments are gorgeous and the pool and walking isle between rooms is beautiful. The wifi is superfast and the rooms are spotless and cleaned daily. I do recommend this place to anyone visiting PV.

A wonderful place owned by a wonderful family. I highly recommend it. The breakfast is extraordinary, everything from the garden and produced by them. I particularly recommend the safari tents, all wonderful decorated with Italian furniture. A place where I would love to return.
