SlovakiaIt was our first accommodation on Cape Verde and even though it was a bit pricey compared to other options, I am happy we chose it for starters for the least possible cultural shock :) It is very modern, clean, organised with the most amazing breakfast buffet full of local and traditional goods. The choice of fresh juices was insane and i was falling asleep looking forward to the breakfast. And the coffee was very good too. The owner came to speak with us during our breakfast and explained us about the dishes we were having, which was a nice touch. The AC in the room was very helpful for transitioning into tropical climate and the thick curtains made it possible to sleep off the jet leg a bit longer in the morning. The staff spoke english and was very helpful with everything we needed like car hire.
