This boutique hotel is housed in buildings dating back to the 17th century and is located in a central yet quiet area. everyrhing! it’s the perfect hotel already planning our next trip and staying here too!!
Dating back to the 17th century, this luxury hotel is a 3 minute walk from Amalienborg Palace and the charming Nyhavn waterfront. It offers elegant rooms with flat-screen TVs and free Wi-Fi. Basic breakfast but for 4 star hotel could be more variable and more option to be better.
Located where Copenhagen’s historical City Center meets green, residential Østerbro, Hotel Østerport offers free Wi-Fi, a bar, bike rental and check-in available from 3pm until midnight as well as... Very good location which closeness to different places in Copenhagen.
Hotel 9 små hjem is located in Copenhagen, 0.6 mi from Parken Stadium. Free WiFi is available. Each room has a private bathroom. For your comfort, you will find free toiletries and a hairdryer. Everything was amazing. It exceeded my expectations.
We saw it the back of it first on the Netto harbor cruise, which was enough. It's small and we had no reason to see more. However, on a bike trip we did. Again - I guess you have to see it, but I wouldn't make a special trip to get there.
For those visiting Copenhagen there seems to be a great desire to visit the statue, located on the river and easily accessible for pictures, which must be placed in your visit to the city album. To be honest what other places have you heard of in Copenhagen before you arrived, locally the guides don’t speak highly of it, but I for one have the pictures and the keyring, a visit to Copenhagen without the Little Mermaid would be a miss whatever the locals think.
Everybody has heard about this sculpture, actually it does represent Copenhagen. Personally I saw it from the sightseeing boat and was surprised at how small it actually is. I didnt go nearer as the crowd of tourists taking pictures next to it was not a welcome sight. I found Copenhagen is thankfully, much more than the Little Mermaid, so if it is crowded....skip and go explore the city instead!
The walk to see the Little Mermaid is lovely, through a nice park and past a beautiful fountain. The little mermaid herself is an attractive statue, but that'a all. We saw it in September, and despite signs to say you may not stand on the statue, many people were doing it. I can only imagine how crowded it must be in summer!
Everyone told me how tiny this sculpture was and not to bother. They were wrong. We walked from the city center and loved the multitude of sites to see along the way. The parks and walkways are gorgeous and the view from the harbor is lovely. It's not giant, but much bigger than I expected and you can get nice and close. It was an exciting adventure to go find her.
I did a run around the harbour and managed to take a few photos early in the morning (@07:30) before everyone started crowding it (apparantly, later in the day one can barely see it without tourists overcrowding the poor girl)
Cozy, quiet apartment with nice interior. The bed was very comfy. It is on the first floor with windows looking at the closed backyard of the building with minimal outside noise. Good Wi-Fi speed. Walking distance to the main city landmarks - for example The Little Mermaid statue is 12 mins walk. Close to a metro and train station. Mini Market and a good bakery in the next street - "Meyers Bageri". Overall suitable for people who prefer quiet neighborhood and not to be around a wild night life.
Excellent location, near the Copenhagen train station, with walking distance to the major tourist attractions, such as the amusement park Tivoli, shopping streets, the little mermaid statue etc. Hotel breakfast was very good and provided a variety of choices.
