All, everything is perfect, the hospitality, staff very very friendly, very close from the temples but if you don't want walk, the hotel has a tuk tuk. The hotel is beautiful and very clean. If you are looking a real Nubian experience, this is the place. We lost the 1st night and the owner offered stay one night more. The road to Abu Simbel is close for tourists at 5pm so if you arrive in Aswan late (between 4-5 pm)to be pickup by a taxi, is impossible you can go to Abu Simbel, is better you stay one night in Aswan and Next day Go. You can arrange everything with the hotel, taxi and stay one night in Aswan, also they have a new beautiful nubio hotel in Aswan. Thank you very much to owner and all team Kabara Nubian House.

It was the best place we have stayed at so far in Egypt! What an amazing place with the friendliest staff that do everything they can to make your stay perfect and magical in every way! I’m so glad we stayed here, I never expected the level of service and care that we were given from the moment we were picked up from the airport to being dropped back off the next day. The rooms are new, clean and stylish like the rest of hotel. The food at the restaurant was amazing, loved the fresh juices too and the staff went above and beyond to make our short stay filled with sweet memories! I want to go back again and spend more time, nice place to rest and chill after all the busy sightseeing in Luxor and Aswan. They make you feel like family and I can’t wait to go back again! Loved the special sunset boat ride, and thanks especially to their staff member Ali for catering to us and making every moment of our short stay so memorable :)

This hotel has been absolutely amazing! It’s literally just two minutes from the Abu Simbel Temple — the perfect location. The property is new, beautiful, and spotless, with a stunning infinity pool overlooking the desert and Lake Nasser. Watching the sunset from their terrace is truly magical. The food is delicious and freshly made, but what really makes this place special is the people. The staff are incredibly warm, kind, and attentive. A special thank you to Asma, who greeted me so warmly at reception, organized my airport transfer, planned my morning visit to the temple, and helped with every little request. She was always available, caring, and made sure I felt completely comfortable during my first time in Egypt.

The hotel is conveniently located a few meters from the entrance to the archaeological site. Our room was large, bright and soberly furnished. The staff members are very courteous and all speak decent English. However, the most notable aspect of this hotel is undoubtedly its distinctive atmosphere: in an architecture with evidently Nubian features is arranged an interesting collection of furniture items and vintage objects of local and European origin put together with refined elegance by the owner. From the old car parked beside the entrance to the paintings, prints, photographs, knick-knacks, wall clocks, and musical instruments, everything contributes to the Tuya hotel's singular distinction, all the more surprising in such a remote area.

We stayed here for one night - super location overlooking Lake Nasser - 5 minutes drive from Abu Simbel. The hotel is very impressive set in its own private grounds and with a great pool area. The room was very spacious and tastefully furnished. Cool balcony with a view of the Lake. On checking in, we were upgraded to have breakfast included - this was great as it cost around $30 each. The breakfast buffet had a great variety to suit all tastes. Would definitely stay again if we could afford to!

The hotel offers excellent value for money. The room was spotless and well-organized, with comfortable beds. The owner was exceptionally friendly and hospitable, even offering to escort me to the temple for the Sun Festival when noticing I was traveling alone. I highly recommend this place to anyone planning to explore the Abu Simbel area!

Fantastic.

Fantastic. Go early 6 am if you can as there were about 12 of us there. At 830 am the buses of tourists arrived and then there were hundreds. We also went the the previous day at 2 pm - 5 pm and only a handful of people there. Peaceful. Don’t forget the visitor centre video

Quiet amazing place, very friendly owner that helped me to get to the hotel from Abu Simbel temples. Host Hamza in the hostel is very sweet genuinely friendly man. Breakfast was great. Sorry there are only 10 points max that I can give ❤️

Super convenient location. We easily walked to Abu Simbel Temples. The room was very clean. Beds were comfortable. Toiletries provided. Young man that runs the hotel very friendly and helpful. He knew someone with a boat that took us out on Lake Nasser to watch the sunrise at the temple. Then dropped us at the airport for the early flight out.

Beautiful hotel within walking distance to the Abu Simbel temples. Amazing staff, helped us arrange tickets to the sound and light show and provided good tips to explore the site. Delicious breakfast and dinner, highly recommended!

Hllol Hotel is a quaint hotel located in town near a handful of restaurants and an easy 30-minute walk (or 10m tuk tuk ride) to Abu Simbel Temples. Breakfast was standard Egyptian with breads, cheeses, tomatoes, cucumbers, yogurt hot tea or coffee as well as choice of an omelet. Rooms are basic, yet comfortable. Modern bathroom with shower near toilet.

Safari is essentially a B&B. The host is very nice and accommodating with lots of helpful recommendations. Wifi speed was good. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. About a 15-20 minute walk from the house to the Abu Simbel temples.
