This is really a very good hotel compared to what I've seen before in Barcelona. The room sizes are exceptionally good. It's rare to find rooms with that size in the same price range The location was amazing it is in the center and very close to everything Staff were so friendly, and we even requested some extra stuff in the room, like a vase for some flowers we got, and they provided it very quickly It was so clean and recently renovated All in all, this is an exceptional hotel, and I will definitely go back

Barceloneta Beach

This ancient theater is the jewel in the Syracusan crown. It dates all the way back to the 5th century BC and was used by the great playwright Aeschylus to stage some of his most beloved tragedies. Carved out of the rocky hillside, it used to hold up to 16,000 theatergoers on its semi-circular steps. Head there in spring to catch a classical play, and imagine the scenes all those years ago, as tragic actors prowled the stage and audiences wept and wailed at the heart-wrenching action and drama.

Amazing walk way. Nice sandy beach.

Amazing walk way. Nice sandy beach. Amazing sunrise experience. It was very crowded. Toilet showers were very almost nonexistent. There were no deck chairs to rent. There were no cleaners to pick rubbish through the day.

The beach is adjacent to the city and was not very clean. It was crowded and we saw trash in the water and on the beach. The day after it rained, the beaches were closed due to unhealthy/hazardous conditions.

Consider renting a locker as the beach is fairly high traffic. There are small convenience stores across the street if you need tanning lotion. You may also find it much cheaper to buy your own beer and drinks there. Vendors will stroll buy offering mojitos, massages, and towels. Haggle with them! If you don't like the offer, find another vendor. Most require cash. Be warned, many pretend not to carry change and will instead offer you a "deal" to make up the difference with more drinks. Don't settle for a towel for more than 15 euros, possibly less if you have the patience.

    Great beach. Sometimes over crowded.

Great beach. Sometimes over crowded. Annoying massage ladies and men trying to sell anything. Never pay the price for what they are asking for. The big beach sheets they try to sell for 15€. Real price is 3€. Bargan down to 8€. Never buy their mojitos. Esp for 5€. They are worth 1€. No need to be afraid. Its not as bad as I'm writing but just these things can happen. Just enjoy the beach and watch your stuff. 👍🙂

Wonderful location in the Gothic Quarter and easy for exploring the area including Barceloneta beach as well. Our room was incredible on the 6th floor with TWO terraces, it was lovely to sit out on our private rooftop to relax after a day of walking and exploring the area. The hotel staff was super helpfulordering us a Taxi when our Cabify was super late!!

I was welcomed by Mohamed, he was polite, friendly and super helpful and made my check-in experience very smooth. Thank him so much and to all the hostel stuff who is working hard to provide a great service to their guests! The place has a great location, close to the central area and to Barceloneta beach. The hostel itself is very spacious spanning the whole building 8 (or 9) floors with roof top terrace. I enjoyed my stay a lot! Thank you.
