Everyone we met, from the woman who checked us in to the man who so nicely carried coffee up to our room from the restaurant, was so friendly and seemed genuinely happy we were there. The people at the restaurant next door were equally as friendly and very helpful with the menu. We had a beautiful view of the mountains from our room and there was a lovely terrace overlooking a stream. Everything seemed like it had been recently updated and the shower was awesome (a marker of a decent place to stay in my opinion!). We would recommend staying here and would return!

We didn't use the restaurant because we hiked early in the mornings. Also we wanted to try some of the amazing restaurants nearby. GREAT location!

    Everything was great - location, price, staff, facilities. It was perfect for my hike on the cares trail. I recommend anyone wanting to hike in Picos de Europa to stay here.
