NH Paseo de la Habana is a modern hotel located 984 feet from the Santiago Bernabeu stadium and less than 10 minutes' walk from Paseo de la Castellana and Madrid’s Palacio de Congresos. I really liked the location; walking distance from metro is very convenient.
Hotel 4C Puerta Europa is well-positioned in the business zone of Madrid, Plaza Castillas, and is well-connected with the metro and the M-30. Excellent hotel, the reception was very kind and helpful. Great service.
Surrounded by some of the most important financial and commercial districts of the capital, this hotel blends styles to create a charming setting for your visit to Madrid. The staff was helpful. The bed was made every day. Nice bathroom.
I used to live next to it. It's a nice view really especially at night with the lights on and they are always different. But it would not be on my to see list especially if you are there for only a weekend. There are other amazing things to see in Madrid. But if you love big buildings that it's probably worth it and then walking down towards Plaza de Castilla to see the other interesting structures. It's nicely developed with a couple of water fountains, greenery and benches to sit down. There is a pretty nice park just beside it. There are a lot of people walking their dogs, cycling and running.
This is a considerable distance from plaza mayor. I walked there as part of walking the beginning of my Camino de Madrid (camino de Santiago de Compostela). I took the subway back to Puerto del sol and the following morning I caught the subway from Puerto Del sol to the towers to continue my Camino. This shortened my day 1 walking distance on my camino.
Check I see if the entire palace is open. We waited until 4:00pm to get in free, but ended up paying 5 euros each. We were only able to see the armory and the current art collection. The rest of the palace was closed due to a special function. SO DISSAPOINTING!!
We went there to visit the embassy of my country. We had pizza in a restaurant La Tagliatelle, near the Four Towers. It was fun to see so many motorbikes parked outside the towers. We counted about 30 bikes between each lamp post, asnd there were about 25 lampposts, so make your calculations!
