Plaza Nueva in Granada and the streets behind the plaza are really nice. The food is generally good, but a little touristy. Walk a bit further and you can get better food for less money. But I love the area and visit it whenever I am in Granada. We were in walking distance to everything- the cathedral, Plaza Nueva, bus stops, etc. It was also in an excellent part of town that was fun to explore and wander in and if itself- beautiful hidden alley ways, squares and fountains, tapas bars and coffee shops. We also felt very safe staying there despite its central and busy location. The apartment was very spacious and comfortable for two.
