Hotel was clean and the room was spacious. I love the whole concept of the hotel including the room. My stay included breakfast and it was great. After my 1st night in the hotel, the reception called in to ask if we were ok and asked is there any thing they could do to help us. It was a good effort to show that they cared. I could not ask for more and I definitely choose the right hotel to stay in Barcelona. Gracias Seventy Barcelona!

A wonderful hotel with fantastic staff. We felt at home during our two-day stay. The employees were incredibly friendly and quick in every matter. They deserve the best of everything. Everything in the room was so clean down to the last detail. The breakfast was fantastic, and the staff assisting you at breakfast were also very good. The location could not be better. We were sad to leave the hotel and our duplex suit room. We will definitely stay here again when we are back in Barcelona.

The property is sophisticated and mixes past charm and elegance with modern necessities. Although room #506 balcony didn’t open due to lack of door handles, we loved how this room kept what looked like the original windows. Absolutely loved the lounge bar. The staff were so wonderful and the wine was divine. Serving cookies with the tea was a happy surprise! The hotel staff in charge of daily room cleaning and nightly turndown service always made coming back to our room a welcoming sight. Although the conversion of the Canadian dollar to euros for a 3 night stay resulted in a very expensive stay, around $600 Canadian a night, we felt that it was worth it due to the hotels history and beautiful architecture.

Sagrada Familia

A large Wari village, Pikillaqta was mysteriously abandoned in 1,100 AD and soon after set ablaze. Despite ancient attempts at arson, the site is still amazingly intact. You’ll wander the streets and plazas past the temples, communal buildings, homes and storage structures – some of the buildings are an impressive four stories tall!

    Book this one in advance.

Book this one in advance. You cannot get in without a reservation. Direct booking on the official website is pretty easy.. Later in the afternoon 6.30 is a good time. The lights are brilliant through the stained glass. This is one of Gaudi sites worth every penny. Again just don't be late because I know some people who missed reservation were denied. Be prepared for airport style security. But it is quick with your times slot. Once inside you can use the free audiophile to be downloaded from Sagrada Familia website when reserving a slot. There will be crowds at times. However, you can take rest break sitting quietly in pews so the ladies with the flags and 50 people tour groups go away five minutes later. Lol

The church is excellent and very beautiful.

The church is excellent and very beautiful. But as the tower is in construction, is very difficult to see the view and to return from upstairs is by foot in difficult steps till the ground. I do not recomend going to the tower.

One of the most beautiful building I have ever been in. The light through the windows alters all the time. I do not have the words to describe it. Even of you are not religious, it is well worth going to.

    Must have in Barcelona!

Must have in Barcelona! The exterior don't tell nothing about the incredible interior of Sagrada Familia. By buying a tour/guided ticket is better to understand everything about the history and architecture (I bought my tickets in GetYourGuide). I normally do it by myself, but it really worths to pay a little more to hear a guider.

Went on a tour in this beautiful architectural masterpiece. Our guide was good but spent too much time on religion and I felt the 2.5 hour visit could be been cut in half to an hour. Beautiful lighting and artworks, sculptures and architecture. Would suggest just getting a ticket yourself rather than having a guided tour unless you want all the religious stuff.

Do the skip the line self-guided tour.

Do the skip the line self-guided tour. I've now been 3 times and I still get overwhelmed by the architecture and thought that went into it by Antoni Gaudi. I'd suggest going early, it's the least crowded and you can enjoy how the light comes through the stained glass.

We originally had an apartment booked on La Rambla but they cancelled last minute. Luckily we found this beautiful apartment in Gracia! Its so spacious and clean, the beds are really comfy and the kitchen is fully equipped. The location is so lovely, clean and green, and we walked to Sagrada Familia and Park Guell. We actually loved this area much better than downtown. The rooftop terrace gives an awesome view of the street. Supermarkets and bakeries are a minute away, we had a wonderful five nights here!

I stay at this hotel every two years, when I visit Barcelona. The manager is always involved and is very personal. Whenever I need a special service, they provide it. For example, the got us a personal driver to go to Montserrat. They also were able to get us tickets to visit La Sagrada Familia. These are special services that are highly appreciated. Thank you!!

It is a horrible place. This hotel stole from my credit card about $1K, after I fully paid for the apartment including all local taxes. The second bedroom is impossible to go in and go out. It is too small, and beds are not real - just cheap mattresses on cheap and bad holders. There is no view of Sagrada Familia from balcony - including other lies this hotel does.

The location was excellent, the property was an exceptional value, basically half the cost of staying in a hotel. It even had a view of Sagrada Familia from the roof top space! I selected the property partly due to being able to meet someone to get into the property (have had difficulty with key locks in the past). The apartment was spacious and clean and would highly recommend.

The location is excellent and the terrace with the view of Sagrada Familia was amazing. The apartment is fully equipped. The staff is really friendly and helpful and they gave us a lot of good recommendations about Barcelona. Before check-in and after check-out they let us leave our luggage in the office. The neighborhood is quiet.

The square just off the Ramblas is the place to dine its the ultimate Mediterranean lifestyle experience eating and relaxing with drinks into the small hours. During the day taking in the cultural side of things such as the picasso museum, the sagrada familia and parc guill are great places. The early evening can be spent at the port / marina or the camp nou taking in a Barca game.
