After a long drive, it was so easy to find. Lots of street parking with a convenience store less than a block away. Nice to have the restaurant next door. There is no need to search out a place to eat. The owner was very friendly and accommodating to my lack of French.

    The owner was very gracious and went well out of his way to make sure my stay was a pleasant one. I booked a single room and it was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The food was delicious and well presented. I will definitely stay here next time I'm in Bergerac, and I recommend L'Escale for comfort, hospitality and value. Also, it is located directly across from the Bergerac train station, very convenient.
