Stunning.
Stunning. Can’t book fast track when there and queues to get in are long, I would say to at least pre-but tickets to avoid the queue to buy at least, as after you buy you have to get in longer entry queue. Walking round is hard work for anyone with any mobility issue

Very large so hiring an electric car seems to best way to see more. It was very green but with little colour from flowers during our stay (May). I was expecting an abundance of flowers but maybe we just didn't find them!

Give yourself plenty of time to go around the gardens and wear comfortable shoes although you can hire bikes and electric buggies, there is also a little train. There is so much to see don't miss anything.

There are free water fountains dotted around in the gardens which are great for refilling water bottles. Versailles needs to update its policy on single use plastics as the cafe refused to refill our water bottles on a blisteringly hot day.

Spectacular!
Spectacular! Entrance ticket it great value for money, you can tag on to a tour guide and eavesdrop to learn more about the history and it’s a great activity if you are travelling solo and don’t have time for the full Palace tour - or the queues!
