Ideally set in the historic La Rochelle, this 17th-century building overlooks the old harbour. Hôtel De La Monnaie is decorated by artworks and features a terrace and a wellness centre.

We requested a room near to lift due to mobility issues and were given a wonderful room with extra large bathroom and shower. The room was fantastic. The hotel location was superb. Only a minutes walk from the restaurants and cafes and the historic sights. The staff went above and beyond expectations with particular thanks to Caroline who welcomed us to the hotel and assisted us with getting into the car park. And Alexandra who couldn’t do enough for us and even parked and charged my EV for me. He also recommended some restaurants which were superb. We will visit again.

Fantastic Stay in a Great Location!** I recently stayed at this hotel and had an excellent experience. The location is perfect, making it easy to explore the surrounding area and access local attractions. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with modern amenities that made my stay even more enjoyable. I was also impressed by the convenience of the on-site parking, which made it stress-free to bring my car. Overall, the hotel provided great value, and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again on my next visit!
