BelgiumOur Hotel was within easy walking distance to the Promenade des Anglais, a lovely long promenade to walk along, looking over the beach, the beautiful bay, with cafe's and many resturants on either side of this very long promenade. you can just sit and people watch, get some sun and take in the beautiful surroundings.
Great to walk on, access the beach from, or sit in one of the many chairs. There are beach-front restaurants, where you can have a table on the beach and enjoy a drink...just be careful of the cyclists, there are many of them, if you don't watch out, you run the risk of getting knocked into..
Go during off seasons. The sun shines a lot all year round. Just bundle up and plop yourself down at one of the many cafe/restaurants on the beach with a warm coffee, bowl of soup or glass of fine French wine and enjoy the beach, the fresh air and watching your fellow sun worshippers.
