The hotel is newly renovated and very well done. We stayed in a family room which had a king bed and 3 twin beds tucked into the eaves. There was plenty of room, and the skylights which looked out to the mountains had motorized blackout shades. There was a kettle, coffee machine, hair dryer, and good water pressure. The hotel was very quiet and we had a great sleep. The front desk was also very helpful, spoke English, and provided us with complimentary train passes for during our stay.

This chalet sits below the famous ski area of the Grands Montets and at the starting point for a range of hiking trails.

Amazing service from friendly staff at all times (check in, use of sauna in the morning, check out, luggage storage). One of them helped with luggage up to our rooms seeing as we were knackered from hiking on check in, even though he didn't have to. Pool, sauna and steam room were clean and very relaxing. Great view from the room as well. Cozy bar and lounge space with sofas and a view. Our room had all the amenities you would expect in perfect condition (mini fridge, kettle, clean bath robe & towels, TV with English channels, etc).

Room was huge :) Staff super nice and helpful for recos in town. Hotel is walking distance to anything you can need. Great bed to rest after a day of hiking. Offers optional breakfast that we did not taste but looked very complete!

Located a 10-minute drive from Argentière, The Guest House features a garden, views of the mountains, and massages on demand. It is just a 10-minute walk from Vallorcine and Le Tour ski elevators.

I didn't know too much about the location beforehand but discovered that Vallorcine is an excellent location for exploring the Chamonix Valley and French Alps. I loved the accessibility to hiking trails and close location to the train station. The accommodation was extremely comfortable and welcoming as were the hosts. I also loved the recommendation to go to the Le Café Comptoir which itself is excellent for a drink and/or meal. Overall, I loved the stay.

Great location, clean, friendly and helpful owner, comfortable beds, enough bathrooms for 8 people, nice balcony to view the mountains and the views were outstanding.

Located 18 miles from Skyway Monte Bianco in Chamonix, Marmotte Mountain Manor has a ski pass sales point, ski storage space, a hot tub and a spa center.
