But it is typical of the fun fair of England's piers, which were quite popular in the late 1800's and early 1900's. It's a peak back in history. My wife dropped her charger, and the staff found it and handed it to the reception. The location is superb—just a 3-4 minute walk to Brighton Pier, and the seaside is literally a 1-minute walk from the hotel; you just need to cross the road. The rooms are spacious, clean, well-maintained, and stocked with complimentary water, tea, and coffee.
