soo soo beautiful - do go to Even song - hear the beautiful choir and soak up the centuries of history whilst the sun beams through the stain glassed windows into the Cathedral - beautiful and most peaceful
Make sure you listen to the choir at evensong around 5pm ...just a perfect end to the day ... This is one of those hidden gems in Bristol...the choir should appear at every event in town ... they are amazing ..
Welcoming. Certain parts are very impressive architecturally. Liked tt he stained glass window representations of the cathedral's history using a combination of recycled medieval glass with more modern designs in the cloisters.
If you like historic buildings and architecture, here's another one. Quite interesting and next to College Green where you can picnic and compare the cathedral with the adjacent modern Council Building
The old buildings, a famous bridge, railway station, Bristol Cathedral and University. Its a good cultural and vibrant city.
