Nestled in the picturesque Scottish Highlands, Fonab Castle, refurbished and opened in 2013, boasts luxurious rooms, scenic views, mature gardens, free WiFi, free parking, and 2 restaurants.

Staff upon check in was fabulous. Had wonderful dinner at Sandemans and the bartender at the main bar was fabulous. The spa was nice however steam room and outside hottubs not on. The only negative was poor service at the primary restaurant for breakfast. Loved the proximity to trails and walk to the town.

    Good location, just out of Aberfeldy, but walking distance. Walks alongside River Tay. Pleasant walk to Castle Menzies - but unfortunately no dogs allowed in castle - nearby woods very pleasant but quite steep. Aberfeldy Birks is a good walking work-out.
