We needed a place to stay for the night near Stansted. And were very pleasantly surprised. This is a true gem of a hotel. The meals in the restaurant were wonderful and the rooms were very comfy, clean and special. We slept really well. It was our last night of our whirlwind visit to London and Edinburgh and this quaint hotel is certainly up there with the highlights of our stay.

A rewarding stop you'll really enjoy, family owned, customer focused, definitely worth your time. From the cost quiet location to the comfy beds, hot shower and overall appeal, the bar and restaurant provide tasty refreshments at great prices and the bonus feelings are, you're looking after the little mans business.

The staff member at check in was extremely friendly and helpful. The bar was still serving food until a reasonably late hour which was very handy for us. The room was clean, modern and had everything you can ask for. Bed was comfortable. There was a shuttle service to the airport which was cheap and very efficient. Would absolutely stay here again.

    Room was very clean, I had a nice shower and I appreciated the chocolates on the bed and the tea making facilities. The man on the desk on arrival (10.30pm) was friendly. A 15 minute walk from Harlow Mill station on the line from Stansted Airport.
