This castle was one of the most beautiful places we have stayed in. We celebrated my husbands 50th birthday by staying in the suite available and it did not disappoint. Sitting looking out of the window in the evening looking at the castle fully lit up was so lovely that I struggled to pull myself away and get into bed! The grounds are superb and a joy to walk around. I can not recommend this place highly enough. We will definitely come here again to stay, only thing missing is a restaurant on site to have dinner in, which would be most welcome. I imagine hold a wedding here would be amazing!
We go to Hever Castle every year, last year we went twice because we wanted to go during Christmas time and I’m so glad we did. It is absolutely mesmerising, the effort the workers must go through to have it look this outstanding. We’ve decided to now go there every Christmas and feel the magic there.
Amazing and luxurious. Enjoy having the grounds to yourself after the castle has closed to the public. Morning is the same with the grounds exclusively yours. An amazing experience, once in a lifetime, thank you
Stay overnight. Have dinner at King Henry VIII pub. Go during the spring/summer to really see how beautiful the gardens are. I took a train there from London which was pretty easy. I took a car back to London - which only cost about 70 pounds.
Awesome castle and grounds. If you're staying, go for one of the rooms in the named wings. The rooms are like a page from history, plus you get to roam the castle grounds after hours when all the day trippers have left!
If you are staying overnight make sure you get there early and tour the castle, if you like really good pub food and old English atmosphere then dinner at Henry Vlll across the road, and make sur you have time the next day to roam the impressive gardens.
We had a amazing evening and overnight stay. Booked a last minute table in the restaurant. The food was exceptionally, nothing too much trouble. The rooms were comfortable. Had a good night's sleep. Plenty of hot water for a shower in the morning. Full English freshly cooked and served to our table. Andrew, the owner ensured everyone was Ok during the strange times. Excellent location for National Trust properties and Hever Castle. We'll definitely be staying again.
Beds were comfortable. Hotel could be stunning if maintained and refurbished. Ideal location as stopped at Hever Castle.
