Exceptionally clean, and the owner was incredibly friendly. They also provided information about local dining and pubs that was very useful. An excellent experience all around.

    Grows more stellar every year.

Grows more stellar every year. Be sure to check out the poignant World Trade Center Exhibit in the American Hangar, beside the Stealth Fighter. It dispalys a flight-tracker loop tape of the skies over the US on a typical day w around 6,000 flights airborne. On 9/11, after 8:20 they all begin to land. At around 10:20, one plane takes off from SFO and heads east. It’s the United crash investigation team headed to Pennsylvania. My husband was one of the United pilots on that flight. He said it was very eery to see the radar go so dark as all the other planes were grounded. Aside from that, there is so so much to do and see at Duxford Field. Going inside a test Concord was a highlight, and especially seei g spitfires taking folks for rides.

Fantastic, particularly if you're into fighter planes old and military aircraft. The American section is absolutely unbelievable with a B52 and the Gary Powers spy plane the Lockheed U-2, plus a host of other iconic aircraft. I would go early or out of season as I imagine it gets very busy in season.

You can easily spend the whole day here, there is so much to see. Well laid out, with each hanger a specific theme. It`s fascinating to see the aircraft in the process of being restored. There are some pretty rare aircraft on display from Pre WW2, WW2, Cold War and a few from the 1990s. Not just the aircraft, but the old 1940s era hangers are something to see and they have TANKS too, proper WW2 tanks. I`m an adult, but I was like a 7 year old on my visit. So much history there, well worth a visit. There is a decent restaurant and gift shop too.

Close to train station for trip to Cambridge. Ten minute drive to Duxford Imperial War Museum (Aircraft). Breakfast room was OK. Breakfast could be presented better. The dinner menu was limited., they could learn from other pubs in the vicinity.
